On Thursday July 8, 2010, being the 19 Hs kicked off the meeting convened by the Security Neighborhood Development Association. Attended the said meeting and invited authorities on behalf of the Departmental Headquarters of Mar del Plata, the sub. Head of the Department, Commissioner Inspector Lorenzo Velasquez, Chief of Police North District Commissioner Roldan Inspector, the Sub. Head of the Northern District Commissioner Torres, the Rural Patrol Chief Commissioner Guillermo Reginato, the Chief of Police 14, Sierra de los Padres, Mr Osvaldo Valle, next to Sub. Leandro Commissioner Hugo Arenas and Officer Garcia, also attended by the Deputy Municipal Sierra de los Padres, and The Pilgrim, Mr. Juan Carlos Garcia, President of the Municipal Forum of Security, Mr Miguel Gomez, Ricardo Velimirovich regarding security and authorities the Board of the organizing institution. The meeting began with a large audience that exceeded a hundred overlooked, despite the intense cold to at that time. Following the presentations of fact, the Secretary of the Neighborhood Association of Development Mr Horacio García, concerning security, urged the neighbors to express to the authorities about the latest criminal acts that were happening in the neighborhoods of the district. This meant that places are selected by criminals to commit assault in public. Similarly expressed concerns about the permanence of children late at night near the main square and the lack of police presence in the area. Mr Deputy Municipal
reported that claims made for lights and no machines at this time due to breakdowns, but pledged that when the work would begin maintenance.
For their part, police authorities reported that they were unaware of the facts due to lack of the respective complaints from neighbors due to this encouraged them to make allegations of criminal acts and that is the only way to know and strengthen the sectors concerned. . Head of the Department would be held in two weeks a meeting with the leaders of the district to assess the results of the work plan for Security.
